Thekua (also known as Khajuria or Tikari) is a popular, dry, sweet snack originating from Bihar and Jharkhand. It is made primarily from whole wheat flour, jaggery (or sugar), and pure ghee, and is often prepared as 'prasad' during the Chhath Puja festival.

How long does Thekua stay fresh?

Because Thekua is a dry, deep-fried snack made without moisture, it has a naturally long shelf life. Our Thekua, when stored in a cool, dry place in an airtight container, will stay fresh and crispy for up to 4 to 6 weeks without any preservatives.
